Association of Plastics Recyclers (APR)

The Association of Plastic Recyclers is the national trade association representing companies who acquire, reprocess and sell the output of more than 90 percent of the post-consumer plastic processing capacity in North America. Carolina Recycling Association

Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA)

California Resource Recovery Association (CRRA)

The California Resource Recovery Association is California’s statewide recycling association. It is the oldest and one of the largest non-profit recycling organizations in the United States. CRRA is dedicated to achieving environmental sustainability in and beyond California through Zero Waste strategies including product stewardship, waste prevention, reuse, recycling and composting.

Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI)

ISRI together with its 21 chapters represents about 1,300 companies in nearly 4,000 location in the U.S and 34 countries worldwide.  ISRI members are manufacturers and processors, brokers, and industrial consumers of scrap commodities. The associate members include equipment & services providers, manufacturers & sellers of equipment, and more.

Mohawk diverts three billion pounds of waste from landfills every year. Plastics Film Recycling & Warp Recycling Action Program (WRAP)

PlasticFilmRecycling.org is supported by the Flexible Film Recycling Group (FFRG) of the American Chemistry Council. The FFRG’s goal is to double plastic film recycling to two billion pounds by 2020. To achieve this goal, the FFRG works to increase access to and participation in plastic film recycling for consumers and businesses. The Wrap Recycling Action Program (WRAP) is a national public awareness initiative designed to make plastic film – including wraps, bags, and flexible packaging – a commonly recycled material.

This is a campaign created by the Carolina Plastics Recycling Council to motivate the public to recycle just TWO or more bottles a week. The campaign is promoting how recycling leads to the creation of jobs, increase of local wealth, reduction of energy and natural resources consumption.
